Columbia not in the top twenty placing by FIFA world ranking

Former Colombia international Footballer Freddy Rincon was arrested in Brazil following an extradition request from Panama. He was detained this morning and is being held at the federal police headquarters in Sao Paulo. Police said Rincon, who was arrested at his home is wanted in Panama on money laundering charges.

Rincon a lanky midfielder with a surprisingly delf touch, played for Brazilian clubs Corinthians and Palmeiras, Napoli and Real Madrid. He played in three world cups for his country and captained the Corinthians team who won FIFA's club world cup in the year 2000.

Recently the 40 year old Ricon has been trying to break into coaching and this year had a brief spell with modest provincial club Sao Bento. This year from the FIFA world ranking result, Columbia are not in the top twenty placing.
